Meet the all-new Scribbles team.
There are 108 of you subscribed to the e-zine, nearly 50 of you who have contributed over the last 9 editions and over 700 who follow the Instagram page page.
I have known for a while that I wanted to have some formal support in place so that Scribbles can be the best it can for all of you.
So…
I now have two amazing people to support me (a lot!) in putting the e-zine together and showcasing the stunning writing, art, photography and more that you are kind enough to share.
Read on to find out more about Rachael, Sid and Rosanna:
Rachael is the founder and editor of ‘Scribbles’. She is a full time English teacher, living in a beautiful part of the world on the outskirts of the Peak District. She loves creative writing (she writes poems and is working on a novel), being outside and spending time with her family and animals. Having Rosanna and Sid to help with the production of the e-zine and print means that they can carry on growing and providing somewhere for this creative community to share their work.
Sidnea has been creating all their life; cards to acrylics; pottery to sewing; photography to Procreate. You name it, they’ve probably tried it and now they’re using their enthusiasm for all things creative to help co-ordinate a diverse range of artists to showcase in each edition of ‘Scribbles’! As a non-binary, disabled person, Sid is passionate to ensure creatives from all walks of life get the fair representation they deserve. Joining Rachael and Rosanna on the Scribbles team is an incredible opportunity and they’re looking forward to sharing their passion with all of you wonderful readers!
Rosanna is a University of Winchester Creative Writing graduate, now working for a Southampton-based arts charity. She loves musing over landscapes (both real and painted!), buying books (and promising to read them!) and is currently building a digital portfolio of fine-art portrait commissions, right here on Instagram. Her art and writing features in 3 editions of ‘Scribbles’, and she’s over the moon to now be joining Rachael and Sid in supporting future editions.
