Kim and I enjoyed having a think about this bizarre fact and how it could become a prompt. Settle somewhere comfortable and let your imagination wander through this stranger than fiction idea. Thank you Kim for the idea and Cathy for the illustration! I could see Splackjar and that Mayor in a hilarious comedy together.
1) Write a chapter/poem/short story about what you think a cat would get up to if it was mayor for the day.

2) In your WIP or a new, standalone piece of writing, put someone or something unexpected in a position of authority.
