This is extremely late- I find it a lot easier to quickly post on Instagram, so if you can follow me there, you won’t miss anything. But, hopefully these prompts will work for you at anytime. So enjoy this one from a couple of weeks ago.
I’d love to read anything you write, I’ll be announcing some submission requests soon, for the Scribble Summer Spectacular (I don’t think I’ll keep that name- but you never know!).
April Week 2
I’m puppy-tired. I’ve been watching the X Files and thinking about Keats.
Sci-Fi and Keats.
‘There’s nothing new under the sun.’
(I think this came from the Old Testament?)
“Beauty is truth, truth beauty,”–that is all Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.
What is man made in this image? Where is nature? What is beautiful?
Write a description of a landscape or scene that is a beautiful mixture of natural, man-made and something that is NEW to earth.
Make it beautiful and believable. I’m thinking monoliths in meadows, portals in city parks.
