Day 2: Ten Days of Writing in April

Chris Power

I read Chris Power’s ‘Mothers’ short stories a year or so ago and loved them. His first novel came out on the 1st April this year: ‘A Lonely Man’.

I think you’ll enjoy the prompt that he has shared with us.

Don’t hold back. Find your comfy spot. Tell everyone you are having half an hour. Let it all out. If you feel inclined to share that would be wonderful! We could all just assume that the situations we describe are fictional? Enjoy!
Prompt: .

Think of a situation you found embarrassing or humiliating. Write about it in third person from the vantage of an observing stranger. Be merciless.
